Growing up immersed in horror movies and war films ignited my passion for special effects from an early age, shaping my career trajectory. Pursuing my interest, I attended Joe Blascoe’s School for Makeup and Special Effects, where I honed my skills and knowledge.

During a serendipitous encounter with the director-writer duo Midnight Studios in Baltimore; and being inspired by their distinctive style, I made the bold move to pack up everything and move to New Zealand.  On arrival, I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity at Wētā Workshop by Richard Taylor to improve myself and my skills again.

Since then, I have thrived in this dynamic environment, contributing as a versatile professional in roles spanning from freelance Designer and Project Supervisor to Art Director and Fear Engineer.

I have won multiple international awards in Art Direction for Location Based Entertainment Installations and my journey reflects a lifelong dedication to the art of visual storytelling through innovative and captivating special effects.
